Terms & Conditions for South African Secrets.

  1. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit amount and paid to the Once deposits for accommodation have been received and processed, they are non-refundable as per our supplier’s terms & conditions.
  2. Final settlement of the services is required no later than 60 days prior to the commencement date of the Any cancellations 60 days or less from the commencement date of the itinerary will be as per the terms & conditions of the specific suppliers

While Secret South Africa (SAS) makes every effort to engage quality suppliers among the airlines, hotels, tour operators and other service providers to provide the travel products making up the Tour And to ensure that the various services making up the Tour will be carried out efficiently and as specified, we do not have direct control over the provision of services by suppliers and shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, additional cost, accident, delay, irregularity that may be occasioned by any error or default, act or omission of any supplier in carrying out the arrangements of the Tour, or otherwise in connection therewith.
  4. Changes, omissions or delays before or during the course of the Tour occasioned by technical difficulties, weather conditions, communication breakdowns or events beyond the control of SAS; any cancellation or curtailment of the Tour as a result of the customer’s personal circumstances, e.g. death or illness. All expenses occasioned by the changed circumstances event/s, including but not limited to unscheduled extensions or curtailment of accommodation, changes to scheduled flights, additional airfares, telephone and meal costs, etc, will be for the customer’s
  5. Bookings shall be considered full and paid once a final invoice has been issued and paid within 48 hours of issuing such an invoice. Should the invoice not be paid within this time, SAS reserves the right to re- issue the invoice should there be an increase in foreign exchange rates, airline rates or any other related
  6. Prices quoted for packages are for cash settlements only or, bank transfers/bank deposits. SAS does not include credit card transaction fees in quotations.
  7. The client acknowledges that the tour price and itinerary disclosed to him/her at the time of booking, or alternatively at the time that the contract was concluded, may be varied by SAS from time to time, without notice to the client, at the discretion of SAS and provided the itinerary is not substantially different from the itinerary that the client anticipated enjoying, the client shall not be entitled to cancel the contract.
  8. The full amount due by the client to SAS shall be payable not less than sixty days (60 day’s) prior to the date of If the full amount is not paid in due time, SAS reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled. Bookings made within six weeks (6 weeks) of the departure date must be paid in full immediately.
  9. The client acknowledges that it is his/her responsibility to ensure that he is possessed of the necessary travel documents that may be required in respect of the proposed tour and itinerary as well as all health and other certificates that may be required from time to time.
  10. Save in the event of willful misconduct or gross negligence by SAS, neither SAS nor its holding or parent company or representatives shall be liable for any loss, injury, death or damages, arising from the Tour.
  11. In respect of any fuel surcharge and/or increase in entrance fees and/or government and/or regional levies and/or taxes; SAS cannot guarantee these rates. Airfares are subject to the prices and conditions quoted by the airlines and cannot be guaranteed by SAS.
  12. All information contained in the SAS brochure/itinerary and price schedules are to the best of TAS knowledge and belief true and correct, but SAS accepts no liability for any errors/inaccuracies contained
  13. IT IS IMPERATIVE AND STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT GUESTS TAKE OUT COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE. Covering themselves for personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment
  14. It is of utmost importance that you thoroughly check your visa requirements before the intended date of travel, as SAS cannot be held responsible should the necessary visa requirements not be fulfilled
  15. The client acknowledges that save and except for what has been stated herein, there exist no warranties, representations, guarantees, promises, undertaking or inducements of any nature whatsoever. Any matter or things said by any person on behalf of SAS or on behalf of SAS irrespective as to the position such person occupies, and which is not stated herein, shall not be binding on SAS irrespective as to the nature and extent of any such things, and the client acknowledges that he/she has not relied on any matter or thing stated on behalf of SAS that is not included
  16. The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited (ABTOT) provides financial protection under the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 for South African Secrets Limited and in the event of their insolvency, protection is provided for the following: 
    • non-flight packages commencing in and returning to the UK;
    • non-flight packages commencing and returning to a country other than the UK; and
    • flight inclusive packages that commence outside of the UK are sold to customers outside of the UK
    • 1, 2 and 3 provide a refund in the event you have not yet travelled. 1 and 3 provide for repatriation. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with South African Secrets Limited.
